大概十年前的样子，我跟我的一个大学同学，两人挤在我的Cyrix120+ 电脑前面，装完Windows95，然后把同在一张盗版光盘里的MTV放了一遍又一遍。以我们当时的英语能力，完全听不懂歌里唱些什么，但是依旧很享受这一小段MTV里惬意轻松的氛围，同时对着身形高大但是声线细腻的女主唱啧啧称奇。

 

事隔十年的今天，我才知道那个女主唱名叫Edie Brickell，唱的歌是"Good Times".

 

信不信由大家，这几年来我的心愿之一就是把这首歌找出来。随着盗版Win95的绝迹，对那首歌的旋律和女主唱的外形的略微印象，以及和Windows 95的联系，是我仅存的线索和希望。我曾在google中搜过好几次 "Windows 95 歌"，但每次都无功而返。但是今天突发奇想，在wikipedia里搜 Windows 95, 然后在结果页面中查"music"，迅速锁定了这一行: Two music videos were included on the install CD-ROM for Windows 95: Weezer's "Buddy Holly" and Edie Brickell's "Good Times".

 

接下来的事情就是跟着直觉走，我打开youtube，查找"Edie Brickell good times"，于是有了现在我blog首页上的这支mtv.

 

于是十年前的那一幕仿佛又回到了眼前，我对着电脑一遍又一遍的放这首歌，稍有不同的是Cryix 120+ 兼容机换成了笔记本，那个当年坐我边上的朋友，此刻正在上海某处考国内驾照，以他现如今的英语水平，听懂歌词该不会是什么问题。
